City Sightseeing takes over London Pride

In an unexpected move Citysightseeing Ltd purchased long-established sightseeing operator London Pride sightseeing in a multi-milllion pound deal that was completed on Thursday 16 Nov 2000.

The acquisition added a further 90 vehicles to the Citysightseeing fleet which are all used on its high profile London hop-on hop-off service. The service will be immediately integrated into the Citysightseeing consortium.
Tickets will allow passengers tour discounts in other cities as well as allowing incoming passengers to use existing tickets from other cities to gain a discount on the London operation.
It is expected to put the first fully repainted Citysightseeing London bus on the street within 14 days further increasing other high profile operations worldwide.
